Snapchat Is About to Be Ruined With Old Photos

Get ready to say bye to basically what made Snapchat Snapchat...

Snapchat has been beautiful in it's simplicity and so have Snapchat stories. Pictures and videos were taken and uploaded as they happened, inside the app. It was pretty authentic. 

Now, Snapchat has rolled out Memories, which allows you to save pictures to the app, as well as upload old pictures to your story.

This is feeling alarmingly similar to when Instagram changed their timeline to be all algorithmic. We no likey.

Stories are just going to become a whole lot more...polished...

The main reason Snapchat probably made this change is ads. With the ability to upload more content to stories, Snapchat will now have more surface area to show more ads. 

This update is definitely no fun dog filter update is it?
