Deleting Facebook off your android phone can see you're battery last 20% longer! If only it was some useless app, but no the battery-drainer and life-sapper is Facebook.

This was first noticed by Android Central writer Russell Holly, but since has been tested by Redditors and tech writers.

Most report that battery life goes up by 20% just from removing the app, and there are also reports of boosted speeds as well. 

The good news is that Facebook Messenger isn’t as bad, so if you do actually decide to ditch the main app, you can run Messenger, and just stay logged in to Facebook on Chrome.
