What You've Never Noticed About Monica's Apartment

We would consider ourselves avid Friends fans but even we never noticed this.

The Sun has made the internet aware of this Friends mystery/in-consistency that we had never actually noticed.  

It turns out the world outside her kitchen window is an ever-changing landscape!!

And we have the photo proof:

It seems the New York apartment once had a reasonable view, so Monica, our favourite clean freak, could gaze out across the street at an attractive building as she did her dishes.

But in other episodes the view is blocked by a brick wall, and then in others again a window can be seen through the glass?

Despite this news that takes the show away from reality, we still love Friends, and we just will be taking note next time we binge watch the entire series online.
