The Snapchat Filter That Was Quickly Removed After Massive Backlash

Snapchat have majorly messed up and are getting backlash after releasing a new "anime" filter that gave users slanted eyes, round cheeks and big front teeth. This new filter instantly made people slam Snapchat for the "yellow face" filter calling it "derogatory."

A Snapchat spokesperson even responded to the backlash saying “lenses are meant to be playful and never to offend.”
