The Playstation 2 Has Officially Died

Today marks the grand finale of the Sony PlayStation 2 as the last remaining online link to this video game trasure was shut down.. After almost two decades, the console is now officially deceased as the online server for the popular Final Fantasy XI has been turned off. Sony stopped manufacturing the console and discontinued it worldwide in 2013.

It's hard to say goodbye to the one's we love and this beautiful relic from our childhoods will not be forgotten!

Sony’s video game console left behind both an impressive legacy of video games, as well as sales. The PlayStation 2 became the best-selling video game console worldwide, a title which it still holds to this day.
