A survey has recently revealed that people who cheat on their partners often do so with someone they already know.
The 5000 person research was done by the Australian jewellery company Forktip and the results aren’t exactly painting pretty pictures of happy relationships that for sure.
Of the men surveyed, over 40 percent confessed to cheating on their current partner, 10 percent more than unfaithful females,
Over half of the unfaithful people admitted that it occurred more than once, with over 30 percent admitting the cheating was still going on.
But the interesting part of all this is that they admitted the reasons why they did what they did.
- Lack of enjoyment and fun
- Not having enough sex
- Partner cheated first
- Partner not leaving you sexually satisfied
But the most shocking result of the study was who the cheaters cheated with.
The ambiguous “other” was the top answer with 49.9 percent saying this meaning half the time it’s someone they don’t know.
The next highest at 23 percent answered “with partner's friend” and 22 percent admitting it was a work colleague!
