He had a massive back catalogue but a lot of us remember him fondly for Mrs Doubtfire.

Not only was the late Williams a great actor, it turns out he was a pretty amazing guy as well, and this letter, posted on Imgur, proves it.

Williams wrote a letter on behalf of one girl, Lisa Jakub, who had been on set while the film was in production, and was expelled from her school after missing a day.

The actor went above and beyond, praising the girl, and informing the school that they should reconsider her expulsion.
