Prince William and Catherine have formally registered the birth of their second child, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

Three days after the newborn royal's birth, her birth register was signed by her father at Kensington Palace, witnessed by Westminster deputy registrar Alison Cathcart.

The occupations listed definitely make it not your standard birth certificate!!

Cathcart also wrote the register for Prince George when he was born in July 2013, and famously received death threats and online abuse for her "messy" handwriting.

Normally, parents have to attend a register office within 42 days of a child being born. But in the case of Princess Charlotte, the deputy registrar of Westminster, Alison Cathcart, travelled to Kensington Palace.
