Meet the castaways going head-to-head for charity as Celebrity Treasure Island returns!
The wait is over! The brand-new season of Celebrity Treasure Island is set to premiere on Monday 27 April, and ZM’s very own Bree Tomasel is back on screen.
Thanks to TVNZ, we’re excited to reveal the charismatic line-up of castaways ready to face the ultimate showdown.
Bree is returning alongside Jayden Daniels this season, putting 16 larger-than-life celebrities through their paces as they take on an epic adventure against the stunning backdrop of Northland.
Their goal? To win a staggering $100,000 for their chosen charities.
The line-up of celebrity castaways are:
Ben Barrington
Ben Barrington is a New Zealand actor known for his strong presence across television and film. He’s best recognised for his role as Dr. Drew McCaskill on Shortland Street. Now he will be swapping hospital drama for real life survival.
Can Ben's humour and grit carry him through when the elements and his competitors turn up the heat?

David Correos
David Correos is a New Zealand comedian known for his high-energy, unpredictable style and chaotic live performances. He’s gained a strong following through stand-up, festival shows, and appearances on series like Taskmaster New Zealand, quickly becoming one of the country’s most distinctive comedy voices.
Admittedly, he's coming in very unprepared (he's watched survivor best of clips, but not an episode of Treasure Island).

Frank Bunce
Frank Bunce is a legendary former All Black, widely regarded as one of the greatest centres in rugby history. A key figure in the All Blacks during the 1990s, he was known for his physicality, skill, and leadership on the field, playing a crucial role in the team’s international success.
Back for a second shot at the treasure, Franks not here to play he's here to win.

Georgia Lines

In 2023, she became the most played New Zealand female artist on radio, and has since earned multiple awards and nominations, including three Aotearoa Music Awards.
Georgia might look like she's here for the vibes - but don't be fooled. This popstar knows exactly how to play the game.

Harrison Keefe
Harrison Keefe is a New Zealand radio host and content creator best known for his work on The Edge. He has built a strong following through his on-air presence and digital content, contributing to music, entertainment, and pop culture coverage across radio and social platforms.

With a passion for fishing and diving, his teammates will want to keep him around for a while - they'll stay well fed!

Polly's got heart, grit, and a lifetime of stories - and she's about to add a few more.

Ria Vandervis
Ria Vandervis is a New Zealand actress best known for her 12-year role as Harper Whitley in Shortland Street. Ria has an advantage most don't - a built-in alliance with her previous on-screen husband Drew, aka campmate Ben Barrington.
If anyone can diagnose a backstab before it happens it's Ria!

Sammi Poole
Sammi Poole is a New Zealand model and pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World New Zealand 2025. She represents New Zealand in international pageantry and is known for her advocacy work alongside her modelling and public appearances.
Sammi is ready to trade tiaras for rice and beans and she's not afraid to get her hands dirty if it means coming out on top!

A graduate of NASDA, she began her career in dance and theatre before moving into acting, with standout roles in Black Hands, Head High, and Breakwater. His work spans both blockbuster franchises and local productions, including Dame Whina Cooper biopic projects and other screen roles.

Now he's taking on Celebrity Treasure Island in a bid to win for his chosen charity Koru Care, so kids with disabilities or seriously ill can live out their dream too!
