You may have noticed/heard about a new Snapchat update on the weekend.
In case you aren't in the know, this update involved a map being added to the Snapchat app, in which you can use to see where your friends are located.
Think The Marauder's Map from Harry Potter and you'll get the idea!
If your first thought was "creepy" then you're not alone.
The update has caused a backlash with accusations of Snapchat using this function to collect even more personal data.
Police are also concerned about the safety issue this will cause when it comes to strangers/predators seeing the location of children they've friended online.
Not to mention the sh*t it could cause with friendships, as most Twitter users commented on:
If you don't want to be seen however you do have the option to turn on 'Ghost mode' which prevents your location from being shown.
