Emojis have been the catalyst of many misunderstandings and now Facebook have finally updated their emojis which will remove a lot of this confusion.
Facebook announced this week they have rolled out standardised emojis meaning it doesn't matter if you're using iphone or android all your emojis will look the same.Â
They aren't stopping there, "from skin tones that you can choose to lots of women in great roles, Messenger is beginning to make emojis more representative of the world we live in," Not only will they be uniform over each device, you'll also be able to choose from different skin tones, gender-agnostic options and see female emojis in a wider variety of situations. "Now, using Messenger emojis, you'll see a female police officer, runner, pedestrian, surfer and swimmer for the very first time, and we'll keep rolling these out." You mean ladies are no longer stuck being brides and princesses? And if you've got red hair Facebook is covering you as well.Â
