You know how every night you get in bed and insist on reading the entire internet before you sleep and then it's suddenly 7am and you're wondering what to do with your life? Yeah, well Apple have announced that a new feature on the IOS 9.3 update will help you to get a better nights sleep.

The brightness of the screen apparently puts a strain on your eyes and brain which makes it harder to sleep once you've finished staring at your phone.

Apple are introducing 'Blue Light Reduction', which allows you to alter the temperature of the screen. It'll work on a typical iPhone 'slider' where you can manually adjust the back light to 'warmer' or 'cooler'.

You can also schedule it so that it'll change at a specific time. Ideally this is for when the sun sets or rises so that the screen changes with the light of day.

The update isn't available yet and the new feature is still in its beta stages. IOS 9.3 will most likely be available in the next few weeks.
