Apple Is Making a Major Change to a Popular Emoji

This latest emoji change is coming in response to the recent devastating attacks around the world. 

Starting in September, Apple will be replacing the gun emoji with a green water pistol.

Microsoft has already replaced their pistol with a toy gun, but Google, Samsung, Facebook, and Twitter still have gun emojis.

This change also comes with the addition of many more gender-diverse emojis, like women working out and men getting their hair cut. 

Nice move Apple, we're excited for these new emojis now!
