23-year-old Florida woman Whitney Marie Beall allegedly broadcast her drunken driving escapade over the weekend on Periscope.

In the video, you can hear her saying at one point on Twitter's live app:  “I am drunk,”

She continues: “I’m driving. I think I’m on a flat tire. This is horrible…Goodbye red light…This song is super hot, I want you guys to know.”

The video quickly spread online, WTSP reports, and concerned viewers sent the woman text messages begging her to stop driving. The Lakeland, Florida, police were also contacted by a viewer who was able to identify a few landmarks.

Turns out that Lakeland police officers are forbidden from using Periscope on work computers, so an officer had to use a personal account to track Whitney down and eventually, they determined her exact location and an officer attempted to pull her over.

Whitney was arrested after she refused a breathalyzer and failed field sobriety tests.

"The streaming Periscope video highlights the dangers of driving while intoxicated through the eyes of a drunk and irresponsible young adult," said police.

"The Lakeland Police Department is extremely thankful that this did not result in an accident and no one was injured as a result of her poor decision."
