Uber EATS is coming to New Zealand!

The food delivery app from shared ride service Uber looks set to announce an arrival in the country, after launching in the US and Australia in March this year.

The app is exactly how it sounds; Uber that delivers FOOD. It is designed to deliver meals from local restaurants and give people access to a broader selection of restaurants and food they can have delivered to their home.

Five job listings have appeared on Uber's website for senior positions with Uber EATS that look set to roll out the app in Auckland.

The role of Restaurant Operations Manager calls for someone who will "have a pulse on city-specific preferences & food trends by integrating yourself into the restaurant scene in New Zealand."

No official statement has come from Uber on the arrival of Uber EATS in New Zealand, but watch this space!
