Star kicked off her relationship with music at nine and began taking music seriously at 15. Now 18, she steps into her first official release... pop, indie and bedroom pop, soul and rock... this track has it all!

‘When You’re Around’ began in Star’s first session with Muroki and Reiki Ruawai. This top-notch trio wrote and recorded the first demo in just six hours.
