We've always known Tinders a perfect way to initiate sex, a relationship (not a very high success rate for that one) or really just a little bit of fun. 

But now it's become official that Tinder is the top grossing app on the Apple App Store .

Tinder has overtaken some big names in the game including Netflix and even Candy Crush!

Tinder chief product officer Brian Norgard shared the news with a lot of pride on his twitter and the reasoning for this success could be due to their recent introduction of the subscription service called Tinder Gold.

It lets users learn more about their matches and all the extra tinder plus perks, unlimited super likes and changes of locations etc.
