An online sex toy retailer Lovehoney has looked at couples’ sexual peaks and how these impact on sexual happiness, with some interesting results. 

From the survey of over 14,000 people they found:

- A females sexual desire is most likely at its highest between the ages of 18 and 24.

- One in four females say that the best sex of their lives was between the ages of 18 and 20.

- One in three males said their desire for sex was at its highest ages 18 to 24, the same as females.

- However, only 14 per cent of males said their libido peaked at 18 to 20.
