Dame Maggie Smith is nothing short of an acting legend, and for our generation she's probably best known for her role as Minerva McGonagall in Harry Potter.
But she's actually been a legend since forever (like, waaay before a lot of us were born). Smith is known for her iconic role in Downton Abbey and played Miss Jean Brodie in the film The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.
And don't forget she's been nominated for an Academy Award six times (with two wins), won SEVEN BAFTA’s (plus a load more nominations), and was appointed a Dame of the British Empire.
Needless to say, Dame Maggie Smith is forever slaying.Â
We've stumbled across these old school photos of her and we've fallen in love all over again!
