The Real Reason Papaw's Grandchildren Didn't Show Up For That Dinner

Last week the story of Papaw and his grandchildren (or lack thereof at dinner) went viral when everyone was super upset that his grandchildren didn't show up for the dinner he'd made for them.  

It went so viral that Papaw even said he will do a full on cookout with money being raised from the dinner going to his grandchildren's college education. 

ANYWAY, this is all good and well but people are still cut up about why the grandchildren didn't show up in the first place. 

As Nicki Minaj would say 'what's good'.

Well, as it turns out, Kelsey's cousin's reasons for not showing up to dinner with Papaw might have had less to do with not appreciating gramps and more to do with a lack of effective communication.

In the wake of Kelsey's viral tweet, Papaw, AKA Kenneth Harmon, spoke with Inside Edition and let them know what happened and talked all about that massive viral moment. "There was a failure to communicate," Papaw revealed. "I thought that everyone was invited but that is not the way it turned out. There was some grandkids that didn't know about it."

Okay, now it's becoming more understandable. The Harmons totally appreciate their grandad way more after this big viral event!
