The iOS Update Means You're Using Your Data Even When You're Connected to Wifi

Ahhh iPhones. Sometimes it's easy to get lost in all the settings and sometimes it's hard to know any of those settings actually exist.
Remember when you read all those terms & conditions that came with the iOS update? Yeah, neither. When you update your phone, settings change and you end up agreeing to things you don't necessarily want.Â
One of those things you mightn't want is called "Wi-Fi Assist". This means it "assists" your wifi speed by using your data simultaneously when your wifi has a weak connection.
Yes, we know. UMMMM the point of having wifi is to NOT use your data! Especially living in New Zealand when we're not lucky enough to have cheap unlimited data deals yet.........
Here's how you can turn this feature off: (note, sometimes "cellular" is called "mobile" Â in Settings)
