Olivia Dean named Record Store Day 2026 ambassador 🎶

Olivia Dean is taking the vinyl spotlight as Record Store Day 2026 ambassador! She’s on a mission to “support independent record shops and keep them alive.”

She joins a legendary lineup of past ambassadors, including Taylor Swift, Kate Bush, Noel Gallagher, and Elton John.

RSD 2026 hits on Saturday, April 18, with 300+ UK & Ireland shops and thousands worldwide serving up exclusive releases and in-store events for one day only.

“It’s such an honour to be the Record Store Day Ambassador,” Olivia says. “Independent record stores are such special spaces to discover and share music – to actually touch it and feel it. I’ve found so much inspiration in the records I’ve collected over the years and am so grateful for all the hidden gems I’ve found.

Including being an ambasador, Olivia will also have a record available for purchase on the Saturday at certain Record Stores partcipating in the event. The vinyl features her live rendetion of Man I Need, and her cover of Ravyn Lenae's Love Me Not as perfromed on BBC Radio 1.
