Nickelodeon release first glimpse at Spongebob spinoff - The Patrick Star Show

Are you ready, kids? We have finally got the first look at the brand new show starring everyone's favourite sidekick, Patrick Star. 

The new spinoff will feature some very familiar faces and introduce a few new ones as we take a nostalgic step into the rather simple life of a young Patrick. 

According to Variety, the prequel follows a younger Patrick living at home with his family, where he hosts his own variety show for the neighbourhood.

13 episodes of the show have been created for season 1, with the iconic voice of Bill Fagerbakke as the star himself (excuse the terrible pun).
