Matty Healy Marries Model Gabbriette Bechtel In Star-Studded LA Wedding

The 1975 frontman Matty Healy is officially married!

The 37-year-old singer tied the knot with model Gabbriette Bechtel during a glamorous ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday, held at the iconic Castillo del Lago estate (a property once owned by Madonna btw).

According to reports, the couple exchanged vows beneath the Hollywood Sign as the sun set over the city.

An insider told the Daily Mail that Gabbriette walked down the aisle in "a beautiful white dress" before the newlyweds shared their first kiss at exactly 7pm.

Photos from the event showed the model wearing a long-sleeved gown with a fitted bodice, ruffled neckline and dramatic train, paired with a flowing veil. Matty kept things classic in a black tuxedo.

The celebrations didn't stop after the ceremony either. Reports claim Matty joined his The 1975 bandmates on stage during the reception, performing for a guest list that included Charli XCX, Emily Ratajkowski and Alex Consani.

Ahead of the wedding, the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood on Friday night.

Sources close to the newlyweds say the pair are "absolutely in love" and work exceptionally well together. One insider claimed Gabbriette was the person who finally made Matty want to settle down, describing them as "such a good fit".

The lavish ceremony was reportedly bigger than originally planned, despite the couple's efforts to keep details private. Matty's parents, actors Denise Welch and Tim Healy, were among those who travelled to Los Angeles for the wedding celebrations.

The wedding comes just over two years after Matty and Gabbriette first went public with their relationship. The pair became engaged in June 2024, with Gabbriette sharing the happy news on social media at the time.

Interestingly, the wedding also comes shortly after Matty's former girlfriend Taylor Swift reportedly married NFL star Travis Kelce. Matty and Taylor dated briefly in 2023 before moving on with their current partners.
