Man Proposes at Wedding in Front of Bride & Groom & Outrages the Internet

A picture showing a wedding guest proposing to his girlfriend right in front of the bride and groom at their reception has been met with outrage and ridicule online.

The picture, uploaded to Reddit this week by an unnamed user who has since deleted their account, has been viewed a staggering 1.36million times.

More than 1,000 comments on the photograph on Imgur are increasingly hilarious and scathing as members air their disbelief at the unidentified guests' apparent rudeness.

The photo even shows that the guest had placed his bottle of beer on the table in front of the bride before getting down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend.

While the bride and groom appear to be happy with the events, the bride's arguably strained grin has been the subject of much discussion amongst Reddit commentators.

UPDATE: 

The Iowa woman who is featured in the photo being proposed to, said the idea was suggested by the bride — who happens to be her sister — so they could share their special moment with the family.

“My fiancé told her he didn't want to ruin their day and she insisted it would only make it better!” the woman named Megan told the Daily News. “The groom of the wedding actually held my engagement ring the entire trip! Everyone in the Reddit picture knew the proposal was going to happen except for me!”
