Sometimes you will be watching a "based on a true story" film and you'll be thinking 'whaaaat surely this couldn't have happened in real life?', most probably when you were watching The Wolf of Wall Street.
Well now you can really know if the juiciest parts of your favourite movies happened IRL or not thanks to a website called Information is Beautiful.
The website has dissected a number of popular "based on a true story" movies from The Wolf of Wall Street to The Social Network and explains scene-by-scene just how truthful they are.
Scenes are labeled "True," "True-ish," "False-ish" and "False" so that you can really know what went downa nad what didn't. Each scene compares a description of what happened in the film to what happened in real life.
The most accurate movie of the bunch is The Big Short and The Imitation Game is the biggest bulls**t on the list.
Interesting stuff!
