The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are loaded with some pretty cool features. And whilst we love the design of the latest iPhone we aren't so happy about one particular battery issue.

It doesn't happen to all, but if you have an iPhone 6 you may have noticed that the battery life jumps from 50% down to 25%, and then suddenly down to 10%? Here you are thinking you had half of our phone juice left, and then, surprise, your phones almost dead. Not cool.

The company has explained problem in a support doc. It seems to come about from manually changing the time on your phone, or changing time zones. For some reason, those two actions lead to the false battery life bug.

Here’s what Apple said about it:
“If you change the time on your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus manually or change time zones when traveling, you might notice that the battery percentage doesn’t update. Learn what to do.”

There is 3 steps to stop the battery leak:

1. Restart your phone.

2. Go to Settings, General, and then Date & Time, and see if your Set Automatically is on.

3. And if this doesn’t work, ask Apple for help.

We're hoping a proper fix for the bug will be coming soon. Until then, this is the best you can do.
