If you've ever had a kid then you'll know that choosing the name is not easy. Finding one that both you and your partner agree on can be frustrating as hell. What you also have to consider also however is, is it even legal?
In New Zealand, your babies name needs to be approved by the Department of Internal Affairs.Â
This legislation came into effect in 1995, stating that a name, or combination of names, should not cause offence, be unreasonably long, or resemble an official title or rank.
