How RIDICULOUS is this?!

SOME call it the red devil. Others like the term firenado. For Janae Copelin who took this picture she says it is the ‘coolest/scariest’ thing she has ever seen.
Copelin caught the natural phenomenon on camera as she was driving in Chillicothe, Missouri.

“Had such a wonderful weekend, but this had to be the coolest/scariest thing I’ve ever seen,” she wrote. “A farmer burning off his field and as we stopped so I could take a picture the wind whipped up this fire twister. #nofilter #firestorm #firetwister”.
“Thanks to my love of Instagram I chose to drive by and as I stopped to take a picture the wind whipped up the fire into this funnel,” Ms Copelin told KMCB. “The sound and heat were intense and a bit scary not knowing if it would stay put, but it only lasted a couple minutes.”

Fire whirls can reach up to 30 metres into the sky and like tornadoes are rapidly spinning vortexs.

The tend to occur when intense heat combines with strong winds.
There were no reports of any injuries from the firenado.
