Did This Guy Just Break The Number One Rule Of Bro Code?

This is a little awkward...

Richie won a Heineken beer drinking competition with his friend Dan (oh the irony!) to go on a luxury trip to the Rugby World Cup.

But some people are saying that Richie broke the bro code because he has decided to take his wife on the tour instead of his mate, who by the way, helped him to win the competition.

Dan was even on Fair Go talking about this saying: "He said to me 'you'll never believe it, I've got a message on my phone from Heineken saying you've won a trip to the Rugby World Cup' ... I was stunned, and I went 'you beauty, we're going to the Rugby World Cup," 

"And then there was silence, so I said it again 'we are going to the Rugby World Cup?' And he said 'nah, I'm going to take my wife'.

"I don’t know if its naivety, but I’m old school boys club. I just assumed if I won it I’d take him and if he won it he’d take me."
"I was a wee bit quiet on him for about a week or so. But my lovely, very wise wife said 'get over it'."

However it has since worked out for Dan as Air New Zealand has come to the party out of respect for the bro code and shouted Dan flights to the World Cup.
