Adele's Bodyguard Has Become the Internet's New Fave Thing

Okay, so, who is Adele's bodyguard? 

The internet has found a new thing to have a meltdown over – since coming back onto the music scene with album 25, Adele has beefed up security with this man called Pete now tailing her everywhere.

Well, he’s Peter Van der Veen and comes from Holland. He now works for a personal protection agency, but he’s not always been a bodyguard – he used to be a body builder and was Mr Europe champion in 2005.

He has been Lady Gaga’s bodyguard for the last five years and has also been known to do security for Iggy Azalea.

His vocals feature on Gaga’s track Government Hooker because she was after a robotic-sounding voice and his Dutch twang was apparently perfect for the song!
