Tip of My Tongue is about the pain of not being able to - for whatever reason - express your feelings to the one you love. "I sew my mouth shut just so I don't shout your name" talks about that inner struggle and the pain that cuts "would you notice my scars?"
Tip of My Tongue is a song for anyone who’s ever kept their feelings hidden away yet allowed themselves to feel love “from afar.”
