Interislander heard the theme was “Word of Mouth” ... so they made a burger worth talking about

Some burgers deserve a mention. This one demands a conversation.

For Visa Wellington On a Plate, Interislander has created a burger that's too big not to talk about. Towering with a thick 180g Wairarapa lamb patty, packed with fresh local ingredients and built to satisfy even the biggest appetites, it's the kind of burger that stops people in their tracks.

Seriously...you'll probably want more than two hands (and a few extra napkins).

Even better? This monster feed is just $15! Or $18 with fries.

Where to find it

The main Interislander burger pop-up lands at Wellington Railway Station from 3-23 August, serving every Thursday and Friday from 11:00am – 2:00pm—perfect for commuters, lunch breaks and anyone chasing a seriously good burger.

You can also catch this giant burger at two special waterfront pop-ups:

  • Odlins Plaza (near Te Papa) Saturday 8 August, 11:30am – 2:30pm

  • Oriental Bay (near Freyberg Pool) Saturday 15 August, 11:30am – 2:30pm

Can't make a pop-up? No worries! The Ferry Tale burger will also be available onboard Interislander sailings throughout 3-23 August, so you can enjoy this legendary burger while taking in the stunning Cook Strait crossing.
