You may have thought that latest versions of iOS are pretty, what with all the subtly moving parallax backgrounds and zooming animations when you load up your apps. There's just one problem with this, these flashy bits take up precious seconds of your time. To fix this though, you can turn them off, and your iPhone will instantly look and feel way faster.
The bunch at 9to5 discovered a wee trick to make them go away entirely:
This process is clearly a glitch in the phone, and Apple will probably fix it the next time it puts out a new version of iOS. But for now, it can help save you a few precious fractions of a second, which you can now use to play Candy Crush for longer. Ideal.
