Ellen DeGeneres Shared An Important Message At The Teen Choice Awards

Ellen picked up the Choice Comedian prize on her seventh wedding anniversary and ended her speech with a shout-out to her wife Portia Di Rosi, who looked on from the audience at Los Angeles' Galen Theater with her hand on her heart.

When she picked up the award, Ellen gave a touching speech in which she referenced her struggle to come out as lesbian in the public eye, and encouraged everyone to embrace their differences.
