Perfume isn't cheap, in fact, it's a total luxury. Knowing this, we really should be taking care of it.

Most of us are probably storing our scents in the bathroom cupboard or displaying them on the dresser, but due to the complex and sensitive chemical makeup of our expensive sprays, we should really be keeping them in the fridge.

This method, according to Storage expert Vlatka Lake, will prologue the scent and prevent oxidisation.

“Remember to always keep fragrances away from windowsills and bathrooms. And if your fridge is full, a dry, cold storage cupboard is just as good” said Lake.

If your fridge is too cold for your precious Marc Jacobs, store fragrances in cool, dry spaces away from sunlight and moist areas.
