You Probably Missed This Pretty Big Flaw In The 'Harry Potter' Movies

Even though we all absolutely looooove Harry Potter, we still can't deny that the movies and books have a fair few plot holes and flaws.

One of these flaws in the movies doesn't seem like that much of a biggie, it's just more annoying that it could have been prevented, but it wasn't.

A big theme across the Harry Potter franchise is the 'you have your mother's eyes' story line. It's used as the main reference to his similarities with his mum and it's the reason Snape stays loyal to Harry - because he can see Lily in his eyes.

So, you'd think that they'd both have the same colour eyes. But no, in the movies, Harry and his mother always have different coloured eyes.

Lily has green eyes, whereas Harry, has blue eyes.

Apparently Daniel Radcliffe was given contact lenses to wear, but he kept removing them because they irritated his eyes.

We would have thought that thanks to today's technology, they could have maybe computerised them? Or even made his mums eyes blue?

It's a pretty predominant line throughout the franchise, and they didn't make their eyes match.

To make it even worse, the girl who plays the young Lily in The Deathly Hallows pt 2, doesn't even have the same colour eyes as adult Lily. Hers are brown.

Disappointed... Though this still doesn't quite stop us from being HP fanatics.
