Woman Guilty Of Sexual Assault With Prosthetic Penis On Female Friend

Remember that woman who was tricked into having sex with her female friend who posed as a man with the aid of a prosthetic penis?

Her 25-year-old friend Gayle Newland has just been found guilty of sexual assault by Chester Crown Court, The Mirror reports.

If you haven't read the original story, it's pretty crazy...Newland posed as a half Filipino, half Latino man called Kye online and started chatting to her female friend.

After hitting it off, the agreed to meet in a hotel. 'Kye' had been in a car crash (and was supposedly recovering from a brain tumor too?) and was embarrassed of his scars. He asked the woman to wear a blindfold when she had sex with him (well, actually her).

This carried on for two years, with the pair meeting up for sex around 10 times. Everything was running smoothly, until the woman ripped off her blindfold one time to find that ‘Kye’ was actually her friend Gayle Newland.

The jury convicted Newland of three counts of sexual assault, and cleared her of two other counts of the same charge.

Newland maintains that she is innocent, and claims her accuser was in on it all, and that the pair were engaging in role play as they struggled with their sexuality. She says there was no blindfold used, and that she did not strap bandages to her chest, while wearing a woollen hat and swimsuit.

Sentencing will take place in in November.
