Where In The World That You're Most Likely to Die Taking A Selfie

Whilst it doesn't seem like it, the selfie has actually been slowly decreasing in popularity since its pinnacle in 2014.

 

The decrease is probably a good thing, as Priceonomics has found that they have been involved in several deaths since it's introduction to society. 

Of the 49 selfie-related deaths, 36 were men and 13 were women, with the most common age for deaths being 21, and as the chart below by Statista shows, India was the country with the most selfie-related deaths:

 

The most likely cause of death was a fall from a height, followed by drowning.

 

So please do remember that your life is more important than your camera roll.
