This Riddle is Driving Everyone Cray

Okay so this riddle has been making the rounds on the internet, and it is a seriously hard one to crack. 

We may have had to get someone in the office to explain this to us, because it was just too much for us to handle. 

If you want to know the answer, then read below:

1. First write out the question on a piece of paper. 

2. Then focus on this one part only: "my daughters mother". Who is "my daughters mother"? Well you of course

3. Now cross out the words "my daughters mother" and replace that with the word "me".

4. The question should now read "If Teresa's daughter is me, what am I to Teresa?" and the answer of that, is daughter. 

That required waaaay too much thinking for a Tuesday.
