We never knew there actually was a best time of the day to take a number two, but apparently there is.
Instead of just pooping whenever the urge is upon us, you should, if you can, go at this ideal time of day: in the morning.
Doctor Kenneth Koch has recently discovered that the best time for doing your business is in the morning, right after you wake up.
The doctor explained in Women’s Health that it has to do with your small intestine and colon working overtime while you’re sleeping. By the time it gets to the morning, your body is ready to unload all that junk that has built up inside you.
He also added that this is only beneficial when it is a regular, everyday occurrence.
"You can think of 100 reasons you don’t have time, but have that breakfast, recognize that urge to have a bowel movement, and then take the time. That’s how you get into a regular movement."
So there you have it, something else to add into your morning routine.
