We all love to hate him but poor old Draco Malfoy was really just a misunderstood individual.

In the Harry Potter franchise, Tom Felton's character originally came across as the spoilt Slytherin bully, but by the final films, we kinda ended up feeling sorry for Draco. The kid who clearly didn't want to kill Dumbledore for the Dark Lord, ended up growing up on the dark side and not by choice.

In a deleted scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, we see an alternative ending for Draco that many fans thought should have been redeemed in the books.

The clip shows Draco publicly denouncing Lord Voldemort and his followers and helping Harry by chucking his wand at him prior to the final showdown.

This comes off the back of JK Rowling responding to one fan on Twitter who suggested reading the Harry Potter books from the perspective of Draco Malfoy:

HAHA AMAZING.
