Yeaaaaah so it turns out that our phones could literally be a ‘time bomb’ waiting to break on us.
Apple experts have discovered that both versions of the iPhone 6 are prone to a ‘touch disease’.
This means that the touchscreen can become completely unresponsive.
Tech website, iFixit, said that even though we haven’t heard of this 'disease' before, it is actually “incredibly common”.
The sign that your iPhone's been hit will be the screen turning grey with a flickering bar at the top of the screen.
Jason Villmer, owner of a mobile phone repair shop, said, "This issue is widespread enough that I feel like almost every iPhone 6/6 Plus has a touch of it (no pun intended) and are like ticking bombs just waiting to act up."
If you think your phone could be at risk, make sure you have it backed up and your warranty is up to date, and pray to the iPhone God's.
