The average amount of time people spend on Instagram everyday revealed

You unlock your phone, open up Insty and scroll through your feed. 

It may have felt like you just spent a few mins checking up on who's posting their brunch on Insta, but next thing you know 15 minutes have passed and you really should be getting off the loo. 

It turns out that's a familiar feeling for most as latest stats have shown how long we're actually spending scrolling.

Instagram has revealed that the average amount of time spent on Instagram is more than 32 minutes a day for under-25-year-old users, and then more than 24 minutes a day for over-25-year-old users.

That doesn't actually seem that long...?

Then again, if you add checking Facebook, watching Snapchat stories and tweeting about absolute shiaat to that then it does all add up to be a decent chunk of time on social media! 

Now if the app ever decides to share, say, how long you spend on specific profiles? Those would be some truly disruptive figures.
