ROLE MODEL promised us a Birkin and he has delivered.
Tucker Pillsbury is back in the studio working on RM3, and his latest Instagram post has finally given the people what they want - the bag, front and centre.
Cast your mind back to the end of his No Place Like Tour, when Tucker signed off with one of the most quietly iconic Instagram captions of the year: "Tour is over, my 15 minutes are almost up, I've been working hard on little miss RM3, Birkin has yet to show face." It was cryptic, it was charming, it was very him. And now, months later, the Birkin has officially shown face, and it showed up to the studio.
For fans who've been watching the RM3 breadcrumbs closely, this feels significant. Tucker dropped Rx in 2022 and Kansas Anymore in 2024, so the timeline alone has us thinking 2026 is the year. Add in his SNL debut last October, the Kansas Anymore deluxe run, and now a studio session with a Hermès bag in tow, and the pieces are very much falling into place.
What RM3 actually sounds like is still anyone's guess. Kansas Anymore leaned into bittersweet retrospection, a lot of people read it as Tucker processing his breakup with Emma Chamberlain, so whether the next chapter goes deeper into that melancholy or pivots into something sunnier is the real question. Either way, we're ready.
The Birkin has shown face. RM3 is coming. That's all we needed to know.
