Zambesi opened NZ Fashion Week 2017 with a bang last night, their Mercedes-Benz presents show was a sci-fi kaleidoscope of quilted florals, shiny PVC and silver.

A buzzing crowd of local media and international attendees filled the Viaduct Events Centre, see who was sitting front row at the show and all of the backstage action.

Rachel Mills kicks off day two with an installation instead of a runway show – we spoke to the young designer about how she was feeling in the lead up to fashion week.
