Motorway Built Around Flats, Since Those Inside Won't Move Out

One of the local councils in Guangzhou, China, wanted to stick a new motorway in the city.
The only problem is, it would go directly through a block of flats.
Nobody in those flats wanted to move out to let it happen. Â And they couldn't reach an agreement.
So the motorway's been built around them instead, in a 'ring road' style.
Hopefully it's not too noisy at night!
