McDonald's have really been upping their game lately.
All-day breakfasts are in full swing and now we are seeing another great idea coming from the brand.Â
'Gilroy Garlic Fries'. Garlic fries at McDonald's. Say what you want about the huge brand but there's one thing we all agree on and that's that their fries are top notch. These have got to be winners!
According to Time magazine, the fries are being trialed at four restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area and in a press release, the fast food chain said:
"The new fries are made-to-order in McDonald's kitchens where restaurant employees toss French fries in stainless steel bowls with a purée mix that includes ingredients, such as chopped Gilroy garlic and olive oil, parmesan cheese, parsley and a pinch of salt.
"The garlic fries are part of a trend at McDonald's to experiment with regional flavors and food on its menu."
Naturally, people are LOVIN' IT!

Apparently all the garlic used for the new 'Gilroy Garlic Fries' will be grown in Gilroy, California, and if the trial is successful, then the chain will look to roll it out to 250 restaurants in San Francisco.
