Queen Lizzie has entered the chat!
Lizzo is taking on Skims with the release of her own shapewear brand 'Yitty' which has vowed to make shapewear beautiful and comfortable for everyone.
The line will be launched on April 12th, and will provide a “no-shame, smile-inducing,” size-inclusive shapewear brand designed for everybody and all based on the principles of self-love, radical inner confidence, and effortless, everyday wear.”
Named after Lizzo's childhood nickname, fans have even noticed a subtle change in her label launch post on socials “The subtle beauty of 6X-XS is giving me life!,” one person commented.
It’s that attention to detail that ensures this line has the potential to create real change in the attitude toward shapewear — including that of Lizzo herself.
“I was tired of seeing this sad, restrictive shapewear that literally no one wanted to wear,” she said in a statement.
“I had an epiphany like, ‘who can actually do something about this?’ I decided to take on the challenge of allowing women to feel unapologetically good about themselves again.”
Ugh, can we love this queen any more?! Doubt it!
