Legally Blonde 3 is officially happening - and we finally know when!

What, like it's hard?!

It's been a whole 19 YEARS since Legally Blonde was first released back in 2001, and now we're finally getting a third film!

“Elle Woods is back! Legally Blonde 3 coming May 2022. We rest our case.”

Reese Witherspoon confirmed the third film was happening back in 2018, so we're pretty sure she will be returning for the third film.

And maybe the best part... MINDY KALING will be teaming up with Dan Goor, creator of Brooklyn Nine-Nine to work on the script!

The original producers have signed back up with the addition of Witherspoon with her production company ‘Hello Sunshine.’

The cast recently did a 20 year anniversary reunion- can we just skip to 2022 already??
